Reimagining educator preparation requires expanding beyond instructional competence to include systemic supports for special educator well-being and career sustainability. This presentation explores how humanistic, trauma-informed frameworks and coordinated preparation-to-practice systems can reduce burnout and attrition. Emphasis is placed on embedding resilience, reflective practice, and organizational supports across pre-service preparation, induction, and ongoing professional development.
