To enable our preservice teachers to experience authentic assessment, we ask them to create, practice, and teach a lesson in real middle and high school classrooms. During this transformative experience, cooperating teachers and their students provide feedback and mentoring that promotes cross-generational learning.
Facilitators of the round table will share techniques and tools to foster community and student engagement in online spaces, encourage participants to share their experiences, and create a space for conversations about the complexities of artificial intelligence in teacher preparation.
